Ingredients
  

  • 1 32 ounce container plain low fat yogurt
  • ½ English cucumber with peel grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic pressed
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon salt or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients and have everything ready.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the plain yogurt, grated cucumber, fresh lemon juice, olive oil, and pressed garlic. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the chopped fresh dill, salt, black pepper, and grated lemon zest. Mix until smooth and evenly combined.
  4. Pour into a serving dish and garnish with a little extra fresh dill if you like. Serve right away or chill until ready to use.
